The president stated that they will “take control” of and that the Palestinians should leave the region permanently.
During a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Tuesday (4), Trump stated that “all” the 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza should “be resumed.”
“The US will take control of the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it as well. We will be responsible for disarming all non -detonated pumps and other weapons on the spot, ”he said.

Asked if he would send American troops to Gaza, Trump replied: “We will do whatever it is necessary, we will take control of that area, develop it and create thousands and thousands of jobs. It’s something that the Middle East will be very proud. ”
Egypt and Jordan have already rejected Trump’s plans to reset Palestinians out of Gaza after the US president said last month that it was time to “clean” the enclave.
But Trump reaffirmed his position on Tuesday, describing Gaza as a “demolition site” and saying that he expected Cairo and Amman, both beneficiaries of large amounts of the US to accept the Palestinians. Jordan king Abdullah will meet Trump next week in Washington to present his arguments against the proposal.

Much of the Gaza Strip has been reduced to rubble since the beginning of Israel’s offensive after the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, with Israeli forces bombing Gaza through the air, earth and sea.
