Should you or shouldn’t you have worn your dancing shoes? Markíza recently concluded the eleventh series of the show Let’s Dance. According to the portal, it was the weakest in history in terms of viewership. Nevertheless, the television has a project in its program portfolio, which was on the top of the list of top programs. Who knows how the involvement of the moderator and radio speaker Matej Sajfa Cifru would affect the audience’s interest.
Spectacular plans with the current star of the jockey show Milujem Slovensko, where he is cutting edge as the captain of the competition team, should really have been on the table. It is rumored that Sajfa was given such an opportunity in the past, but things never came to a successful conclusion. The seasoned entertainer openly indicated this on Fun radio, where, in addition to the popular Friday show Adel and Saif, he also hosts his own Saif show.
His guest was the professional dancer Dominika Rošková, to whom he shared these ancient marquise charms. Rošková, who also danced with the talented actor and idol Ján Koleník, jokingly “turned off” the moderator that she was being paired with such men. Sajfa v sighed on the air that maybe this was the reason why the SMS number of the Let’s Dance contestant never appeared next to his name…
We were interested in how Matej and Markíza’s chattering looked and whether they were really just one step away from being among ten dancing celebrities. It was all happening long before the television faced a huge reputational scandal surrounding ex-Marquises Michal Kovačič and Viktor Vincze, and in the days when Adela Vinczeová, Sajf’s lifelong partner, did not refuse cooperation with the current Markíza management.
Cifra put things in perspective. “I don’t think I was seriously being ripped off. I know it was floating around when Let’s Dance was directed by Peter Núñez. But maybe I was just imagining it.” he said to Saif with a laugh. In the year of his thirtieth birthday, Markíza will pull out another show, but there will be no place for autumn songs, where, paradoxically, it will be about Czech artists and Paľ Haber. But it will not be a surprise if the twelfth series of Let’s Dance appears again next spring. What conditions would Sajfa potentially impose on himself? Would he want his friend Vincze, who trashed television, in the contract as a dance partner? We didn’t find out… Matej swallowed the answer and responded without words, only with e-laughter in WhatsApp communication.
