One of the secrets revealed by Diego Hypolito on Big Brother Brazil 25 was about his own look. The former little boy said he had had genetic baldness since he was 21 and, therefore, had a capillary transplant for eight years. Brother of the former athlete, Edson Hypolito explained Diego’s decision, and said he was always very concerned about appearance.>

“Diego decided to do the transplant when he realized that the tickets were becoming more evident and the hair was falling. He was always very decided in relation to aesthetics, so when he was bothered by the fall, he made the decision to seek a solution,” he said, ” said Edson, in an interview with Gshow.>

“The big change was that he was much happier, knowing that his look would change a lot. He always bothered with his hair loss, so that was the main difference. His self -esteem really increased a lot after that,” he followed.>

Still during BBB 25, Diego revealed that when he participated in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, he wore Lace, a kind of wig where hair is sewn on a screen. Shortly thereafter, he went through the hair transplant. According to Edson, the former little girl won the support of the family.>

“We believe that the person needs to be well with himself, happy and self -esteem. We knew it bothered him, so we always gave our support from the beginning. There was never a problem with that,” he said.>

According to the former athlete’s brother, it took some specific care. “After the transplant, I remember that he had to spend time without washing his hair at home and then used a specific shampoo for sensitive, baby shampoo, to help healing. He also had to pass some creams,” he said. >

“At first, the hair falls, but then it starts to really grow. Overall, it was nothing very complicated, he was able to take good care of himself, but if he needed it, we were around to help. In the early days, the important thing is Avoid washing because of shower pressure, which can cause swelling and interfere with recovery, “he added.
