US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Israel and the Arab states later this month, a state department official said.

Rubio’s first visit to the Middle East happens after one of traveling Palestinians in Gaza.

The Secretary of State will travel to the Munich Security Conference and to Israel, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia from February 13 to 18, the state department official said on Thursday night.

Human rights groups condemned that Palestinians in Gaza should be permanently displaced as part of an Enclave taking across the US.

Rubio said on Wednesday that the Palestinians at the Enclave will have to relocate on “Interim” while he is rebuilt after the Israel-Gaza war.

The US employee said Rubio would discuss Gaza and the consequences of Hamas attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023 during the trip, and follow Trump’s approach to trying to disturb the status quo (state of affairs) in the region.

“The status quo cannot continue. It’s like washing, rinsing and repeating. It becomes familiar and you begin to think that this is how life is and what we have to expect. President Trump and Marco Rubio believe this is not the case, things can change, ”said the official.

Since January 25, Trump has repeatedly suggested that Palestinians in Gaza should be welcomed by regional Arab nations such as Egypt and Jordan, an idea rejected by Arab states and Palestinians.

Trump’s suggestion echoed the ancient Palestinian fears to be permanently expelled from their homes.

The Military Attack of Israel, the US ally, Gaza, now interrupted by a fragile ceasefire, has killed more than 47,000 Palestinians in the last 16 months, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, and has caused accusations of genocide and war crimes that Israel denies.

The attack has internally shifted almost the entire population of Gaza and caused a hunger crisis.

The latest bloodshed in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict of decades was triggered by, when Palestinian Hamas militants attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and doing about 250 hostages, according to Israeli counts.
