One person died in Friday’s shooting in Brussels, the local prosecutor informed. The attack is likely to be related to conflicts between opponents drug gangs. TASR reports according to Reuters.
“On Friday morning there was a shooting in Anderlecht (city district of Brussels). One person died during the incident. Most likely, the attack concerns the opponents of drug gangs, “ said the spokeswoman of the Brussels prosecutor’s office.
Friday’s incident is the second shooting in the city within a few days. On Wednesday morning in the center of Brussels there was another shooting near the Clemenceau metro station. However, no one died in this attack.
