"George Soros is the past and Elon Musk is the future": European far-right joins and puts Trump on a pedestal

André Ventura did not miss the meeting where Marine Le Pen, Viktor Orbán, Matteo Salvini and, of course, the host Santiago Abascca

If Donald Trump were this weekend in Madrid, he would certainly be the head of poster. But the president of the United States has other things to do and did not get time to come to the Spanish capital, where the conservative right leaders gathered.

At a meeting where Vox president, Santiago Abascca, was host also participated André Ventura, Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilders, Viktor Orbán or Matteo Salvini, although they missed names like Alice Weidel, Javier Milei or Herbert Kickl.

In the midst of all these leaders, those who were missing and those who were, the star was really the man who walks in the mouths of the world, largely for threatening the countries of some of these politicians. But Santiago ABASCAL and Geert Wilders, leader of Downing PPV, see in Donald Trump a “mate of arms”, even if they do not share all visions.

André Ventura, for example, came to say that the creation of a “riviera” in the Gaza Strip, as the US president suggested, “is not an excellent idea,” even though he argues that this faction must be on the Israeli side.

“We should not end the Palestinian people. Patriots have to have an approach alongside Israel, ”said the arrival president.

Already Viktor Orbán, one of the great leaders of this group and who is in charge of the so -called patriots in Europe, who in the European Parliament have the third largest parliamentary group, with 86 seats, ensures that “Trump’s triumph has changed the world.”

The Hungarian Prime Minister, who was the most applauded at the event, understands that the political forces that identified with the past are now a future bet. He who assumes himself as a lighthouse of “conservative policies”, stating that his 15 years in power allowed Hungary to make a “laboratory” for this ideology.

And that includes the fight against immigration, of course, but also, according to itself, the installation of a Christian culture or the prohibition of same -sex marriage. Moreover, as has been heard more than once in Madrid, these leaders understand, like Donald Trump, that “there are only two genres, man and woman.”

“We have to regain a Europe that is ours, which belongs to us, and we are not afraid to say: a Christian Europe, because it is Europe that we build for us and our children,” said André Ventura, that that He also spoke of the issue of gender.

“We have to say that it is enough of gender ideology in schools and universities, in the media. No more immigrants coming to our territory not to work but to tell us how to live. Enough of a political class of parasites that are enriching and make us poorer with less money to pay light, gas, oil and housing. It’s time for unity, ”he added.

In another matters on the agenda, there was time and space to attack the International Criminal Court (ICC), after Donald Trump announced sanctions following what he understands to be an attack on the United States and his allies, namely Israel.

“Equip the Hamas terrorists with a democratic ruler like Bibi Netanyahu…” lamented Matteo Salvini, while Santiago Abascal denounced what he says is the imposition of a “global dictatorship that only resists Brussels and international forums such as the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the ICC ”.

All themes that clearly meet Donald Trump, as, in addition to criticism of the TPI, the US president also announced the departure of the World Health Organization, and soon after Javier Milei Argentina followed the same way.

In the words of, Geert Wilders had a more “xenophobic” speech, thanking Spain for the “reconquest” in reference to the expulsion of European soil immigrants. On this topic, Viktor Orbán rode in the theory that there is a “population replacement in Europe” in a reference to which Muslim religion immigrants are gaining power.

“It is not a conspiracy theory, it is pure practice,” he reiterated, then launching a name so often pointed out by the far right: “George Soros [magnata húngaro que defende a globalização] It’s the past and Elon Musk is the future. ”

Elon Musk, the richest man in the world who arrived in the US government, was not forgotten by Santiago Abascal either. The president of Vox accuses social networks of “relentless censorship”, arguing that the arrival of the now owner of the X in the sector contributed to change this, because “the great technology began to collaborate with the battle for freedom.”

Already Marine Le Pen, one of the figures present in Madrid who is closer to a position of power – it is real the possibility of being elected president of France in 2027 – preferred to underline the “hole trump” as a symbol of a “world innovation”, even though Europe should focus on its own “Renaissance.”

On the subjects that most divide the far right European there were only a few notes. The arrival, for example, defends support for Ukraine and resistance against Russia, but Italian Matteo Salvini criticized European support to Kiev, stating that “because of Brussels we are sending our money to Ukraine, a war without hope”.

Although absent, Argentine Javier Milei and Austrian Herbert Kickl wanted to send a word of appreciation. The president of the South American country left a brief “greeting” to Santiago Abascal and even the leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Maria Corina Machado.

Speak in

Although Donald Trump was the central focus of almost all speeches, the different conservative right leaders also wanted to speak inside.

It was at this moment, for example, that Viktor Orbán originated one of the greatest applause between the two thousand people present. It is that the prime minister recalled the name of Francisco Franco, Spanish dictator, thanking him for supporting the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.

Already André Ventura preferred to focus on the present and future, asking the Spaniards to elevate Santiago ABASCAL as the next prime minister.

For the president of arrival there is something that has changed since the last visit to Madrid. Now there is a “good news: [Pedro] Sánchez is closer to jail and [Santiago] Tabscal closer to being a prime minister ”.

“Trocar [Pedro] Sanchez by [Alberto Núñez] Feijóo would be a tremendous mistake, ”he added, raising the public’s enthusiasm by praising the“ bullfighter ”Santiago ABASCAL.

The meeting of the patriots in Europe was also the scene of a protest of a feminist group activist, which was eventually prevented by police from advancing in the venue. With her breasts on display, she was removed as she shouted “no more step to fascism.”
