The elements of the Local Command of the Maritime Police of Portimão seized, about 235 kilos of tambourine on Tuesday during an inspection action held at the Arade Fishing Port, in the municipality of Lagoa.
“During an inspection action, the elements of the Maritime Police detected the existence of 234.6 kilos of fish, namely Tamboril, aboard a vessel, whose capture is banned,” explains the statement.
In view of the infraction detected, the respective news of news was elaborated and, as a precautionary measure, the elements of the Maritime Police proceeded to the seizure of the fish, which will be sold on a lot, reversing the value in favor of the process.
The action was attended by two elements of the Maritime Maritime Police Command of Portimão, supported by a vehicle.
