A survey released by the Real Time Instituto Big Data last Thursday (13) reinforced the intention of federal deputy Ricardo Salles (Novo-SP) to play for São Paulo in 2026. There will be two vacancies in play.
The former environmental minister appears with 15% in one of the scenarios analyzed, when the question is about the second seat that the voter would choose in the dispute. Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) scores 13%, and the Secretary of Public Security, Guilherme Derrite (PL), has 12%.
In the question about the first vote, Derrite reaches 16%, with Alckmin with 13%and Salles with 12%. Since the margin of error is 3 percentage points, the scenario is a technical draw.
For the two Senate vacancies in the state in 2026, with Eduardo, Derrite and Salles as the most competitive names.
The former minister has said that his intention to dispute the Senate is irreversible, although former President Jair Bolsonaro is supporting his son and Governor Tarcisio de Freitas tenda to play derrite.
