It is the 2nd time that the Republican honor the daytone 500 event in Florida as president of the US
US President Donald Trump (Republican) participated in the traditional Nascar race, Daytona 500, Florida. Before the test, the US president took a walk with the circuit with the presidential car and then greeted military personnel at the scene. This is the 2nd time the Republican goes to Daytona 500 as president of the US. The first time was during his campaign for reelection in 2020.
In addition to taking a walk on the track, Trump also made a brief pronouncement at the event. Stated that race is a symbol of what the American spirit should be and that the country will experience a “Golden Age” If they take advantage of the opportunities.
“The Daytona 500 is a timeless tribute to speed, strength and inflexible spirit that make America great”disse Trump. “This spirit is what will feed the golden age of America and, if we take advantage of it, the future will be truly ours.”
The Daytona 500, or 500 miles of Daytona, is one of the most traditional races of the Nascar season. Nascar in turn is a well -known car race in the US, especially in interior states. Is very associated as a time of rednecks –Classe working and rural from the US.
Trump’s limo was two laps to the race track. While roaming the track, the president spoke to the audience present from the stadium radio. “This is its favorite president. I’m a big fan. I’m a big fan of you ”disse Trump.

Trump was accompanied by allies and family members such as son Eric Trump and granddaughter Caroline. The president landed in Florida this Sunday (16.FEV) with an entourage of ministers and congressmen. Florida is an important electoral stronghold for Trump and the Republican Party. The party controls the state for over two decades.
