British Prime Minister Keir Starmer claims that The Kiev Security Warranty by the US is the “only way” how Russia can be discouraged from further attacks on Ukraine. Starmer said this way after the end of Tuesday’s extraordinary summit of the European leaders in Paris, reports TASR according to Sky News and The Guardian.
Starmer also reiterated his willingness to consider the presence of British soldiers as peace troops in Ukraine After a peace agreement with Russia and Kiev is reached, it will receive security guarantees, including the aforementioned US Security, which he described as necessary. “US security guarantee is the only way to effectively discourage Russia from another attack on Ukraine,” said.
