Former councilman and sportsman Raimundo Vaz was acclaimed on Wednesday, 19, at AABB, and took command of the Acrean Handball Federation (Fach) for the next four years.

The goal of the entity’s new board is to invest in the grassroots and qualification of professionals.
“We have well -defined goals and let’s work. Handball is a passion and everyone from the board is motivated, ”said Fach’s new president Raimundo Vaz.
The 2025 season is expected to start in April, but the disclosed calendar should undergo some changes.
“We will hold the traditional competitions. Our idea is to innovate and we are evaluating many possibilities, ”explained the leader.

Raimundo Vaz’s acclaim was attended by leaders, coaches, athletes and the municipal secretary of sports, Wendell Barbosa. Professor Marcelo Fontenele represented the state secretary of sports, Ney Amorim.
