Elon Musk, head of the US State Administration Efficiency Authority, wants to prove what they managed to achieve at work last week, otherwise they are at risk of dismissal. However, some authorities ordered their employees not to comply with the requirement. TASR informs this based on the AFP report.

Musk’s office sent to hundreds of thousands of federal employees on Saturday evening an e-mail asking them to mention five specific things they achieved last week. They should send answers within 48 hours, otherwise it will be considered a notice, Musk writes on the social network X.

The attitude of agencies and authorities to this requirement varies. The Federal Investigation Office (FBI), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense recommended that they do not respond directly to employees, while the Ministry of Health ordered its employees to answer the question.

The ultimatum came only a few hours after Trump on Muska’s social networks urged to “be more aggressive” in reducing the states of government employees.

One of the declared priorities of Trump’s administration is radically slimming of the state apparatus and increasing its overall efficiency. During the first month after Trump’s return to the White House, thousands of federal employees were released.

“The reason why this is important is the fact that a significant number of people who should work for the government do so little work that they do not even check their e -mail,” Musk wrote on the network X. “In some cases we believe, we believe, that the payouts are received by non -existent persons or dead people. In other words, these are fraud, ”he added.
