President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva used a statement on Monday in a radio and TV chain to praise two federal programs-the half foot and the popular pharmacy-as part of a movement to try to reverse the worsening of the evaluation rates of the government.
In a less formal tone than in other pronouncements, Lula stated that the programs form a “double that is not country, but is moving with Brazil”. And, emphasizing the word “prosperity,” he said his government works to rebuild the country and help those who need it most.
“We follow with each Brazilian and each Brazilian: to lift, shake the dust and turn around,” said the president.

One of the programs most mentioned by Lula in interviews and public events, the half foot guarantees a scholarship to encourage school stay and the completion of high school by low -income students.
“It is for young Brazilians that I bring the first good news. Payment of the savings of $ 1,000 from the Péca-Degia program enters the account tomorrow and surrendering, ”said the president.
“It is entitled to value who has passed the year. But those who have completed high school can already withdraw from this Tuesday. And look how cool: over 90% of young people on the program has gone through the year, ”he added.

Popular Pharmacy, from the 14th of this month, began to provide free 100% of medicines and inputs for diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, and Parkinson’s disease, among others, besides offering diapers geriatric.
The program was relaunched by Lula in 2023, including osteoporosis and contraceptive remedies and, by 2024, pads for vulnerable people and students from the public school system.
Lula’s pronouncement on the two social programs comes in the Datafolha research wake point to a drop in the president’s popularity and also after Lula makes changes in the command of his government’s communication.
