While waiting to leave the room, with the rest of the stadium empty, the Vimaranenses fans launched a monkey -shaped balloon and chanted in choir: “Monkey is ours, allez.” The action was interpreted as a direct allusion to Fernando Madureira, whose nickname is widely known in the middle of Portuguese football.
