At this point, the Americans and the Russians, who began a spectacular approach within two weeks, with the push of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, seem to want to discuss the issue of Ukraine without the presence of Ukrainians and Europeans.
Speaking about contacts between Russia and the US, Vladimir Putin called on Westerners to show “pragmatism” and have a “realistic picture” of the situation.
He reiterated that his country is open to the “serious dialogue” about Ukraine, while accusing the “western elites” of wanting to “disturb or undermine” discussions with Washington.
