This black glass was created in the head of a Vesuv victim

Glass like this is not a second time: it shines like obsidian and also created through a volcano – but in the head of a person. Under extreme heat and rapid cooling, the brain of a young man turned into the black glass. He was one of the victims of Herculaneum and Pompeii, who died in 79 when the Vesuvios out.
