Today, more and more people spend most of the working day in the office or other sedentary jobs. Long hours spent in one position often lead to hunger in fast foods and you do not have time or taste for movement. However, this lifestyle has many negative impacts on your health. Back pain, cervical spine problems, constant fatigue and stress are all unpleasant consequences that many of you certainly encounter.

To maintain a slim line and stay healthy even with sedentary work, experts decided to set up a list of five rules on how to do it. These simple tips will help you improve your health, increase your energy while maintaining your figure, even if you spend most of the day at the table.

Five advice on how to keep a slim line

If you have a sedentary job, it is important for you to focus on a healthy lifestyle to maintain a slim line. The first and one of the most important steps is the right and healthy diet. Try to avoid fast foods, sweets and caloric meals that add pounds to sit. On the contrary, include fruits, vegetables, whole grain foods and quality proteins such as fish and chicken.

It is also important to eat regularly, ideally five times a day in smaller portions. This will help accelerate metabolism and burn more calories. Place fruits or vegetables on the table instead of unhealthy snacks to avoid temptation. And don’t forget breakfast! It is not in vain that breakfast is the basis of the day.

Another key point is enough fluids. Drink at least two liters of water a day, ideally clean water, mineral water or tea. Reduce sweetened lemonade and alcohol. Regarding movement, regular physical activity is necessary. Start with a slight activity such as walking or Nordic walking. If the conditions allow, go to work on foot or cycle. Even during the working day, try to get up regularly and stretch. And do not forget the sports of IO weekends. In this way, even with a sedentary job you can keep your character fit.

It is definitely possible to maintain a slim figure in a daily sedentary job. Just change a few habits and have a firm will. The basic pillars are healthy eating and regular movement. Even if you have a sedentary job, do not forget to move regularly, whether during short breaks or for regular evening sports. If you are careful about the diet and you will find time to move, even with sedentary work you do not have to worry about excess pounds. For example, you can also involve your colleagues, so you are not alone. Joint activities will motivate you and support each other.
