A research from CBS/YouGov Disclosure on Sunday (2) reveals that just over half of Americans (52%) support Ukraine in the war against Russia, while only 4% say they are with the Russians. However, a significant portion of the population (44%) claims not to support either countries.

The research also highlights a strong party contrast regarding the conflict. Among Democrats, 72% say pro-Uctural, while among Republicans this number drops to 32%.
In addition, 66% of Americans consider Russia a hostile threat or enemy, but 41% of Republicans classify it as friendly or ally – a much higher rate than 26% of democrats who share this vision.
The survey also points out that most Americans believe that the war between Russia and Ukraine has an impact on the interests of the United States. While 48% of Democrats consider the conflict “very important” to the US, only 20% of Republicans share this opinion.
