The opposition party of the SaS calls on President of the Slovak Republic Petr Pellegrini not to appoint the non -attached MP Rudolf Huliak as Minister of Tourism and Sport. According to the party, it would be an international shame for Slovakia. He also claims that Huliak has no experience or personality. TASR informed SaS spokesman Ondrej Šprlák.
“If President Pellegrini appoints Rudolf Huliak, he only confirms that the sports and tourism department is part of political crash and corruption. In addition, he will lead to a person who stood with the program to leave the EU and NATO. Such a nomination will be a shame for the whole of Slovakia, ” SaS chairman Branislav declared Gröhling.
According to SaS, it is unacceptable that the resort that is responsible for the support of athletes and the development of tourism is led by a person with extreme views and without relevant experience. “Huliak at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism will not only offend all athletes, but also damage the foreign policy reputation of Slovakia,” He thinks Gröhling.
At the same time, SaS stressed that Huliak does not have personality prerequisites or experiences for the leadership of this department. “The paradox is that the government has argued that sport and tourism require better and more professional support and therefore a separate ministry was created. Now, however, it should be led by someone who does not know in this area. The only right solution would be to cancel this ministry and save hundreds of millions of euros, ” SaS Vice -Chairman Marián added Viskupič.
On Monday, the President received Huliak at the Presidential Palace. He was designed by Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD). At that time, the head of state announced that Huliak would invite a personal consultation. The Tourism and Sport resort has undergone a coalition agreement from the coalition CIS below Smer-SD. The changes occurred in response to the amended conditions of MEPs in Parliament.
