Aston Villa won an important 3-1 win over the Brugg Club in Belgium on Tuesday (4) in the round of 16 of Champions League.
The English team came out ahead early in the 3 minutes with a goal from Leon Bailey, but Bruggge drew nine minutes later with Maxim de Cuyper. The draw seemed to be sent until, eight minutes from the end, Brandon Mechele scored a goal against, putting the Villa again ahead.
To seal the victory, Marco Asensio converted a penalty 43 minutes into the second stage. With the advantage, the villains may even lose by a goal to ensure their classification for the next phase.
Now, the teams face each other again next Wednesday (12), at Villa Park, to decide who will advance to the quarterfinals, where he will face Liverpool or Paris Saint-Germain.
