The president of, Leonardo Avalanche, says he opened conversations with the licensee (PL-SP) and made the party available for him to run for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026.
According to the electoral legislation, nothing prevents Eduardo from running for president even though they are abroad if he is eligible. He has even expressed the possibility of making the first virtual presidential campaign in the history of Brazil.
To this end, however, it would need to leave PL, its current party, which tends to support Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans) for president.
Avalanche says that, in addition to Eduardo, it aims for other names such as the mayor of Sorocaba, Rodrigo Manga (), the Senator (Republicans-DF), the former governor (Republicans-RJ) and, who is already affiliated and ineligible until 2032.
“Those who win or better score in presidential polls will be our candidate, and the others should leave candidates for governors for their respective states,” says Avalanche
“We are talking and everyone is willing to demonstrate to the Brazilian electorate their proposals,” continued the leader.
