British Undersecretary of Defense Luke Polard said that Paris has not agreed on a partial one -month proposal in Ukraine, which was reported by the French president yesterday, speaking to the French newspaper Le Figaro.
“There is no agreement on something that looks like a truce,” Polard told Times Radio.
“Many are on the table, without prejudice to more intentional discussions with US and European partners, but a one -month truce is not subject to agreement,” commented a British government official.
Macron’s partial truce
It is recalled that Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris and London are proposing to declare a partial one -month ceasefire in Ukraine in the air, sea, sea and energy infrastructure.
Barro, for his part, added today that he believes that Zelenski and US President Donald Trump are likely to repeat their conversations after a strong confrontation on Friday at the Oval Office.
“I believe that there is a desire on both sides, a common realization that it is in the interest of Ukraine, in the interests of Europeans and in the interest of the Americans to ensure that Russia’s imperialist tendencies stop,” the French minister concluded.
