The survey of the 1st of May Foundation, prepared by political scientists Henrique Cardoso Oliveira and Jaime da Silva Matos, indicates that if the agreement is upheld by the Supreme Court, seven states would see their expanded. The biggest increase would be in Amazonas, which would go from the current 24 vacancies to 30. Santa Catarina and Pará would win four state deputies each, having, respectively, 44 and 45 in total.

Mato Grosso would earn three new ones to 27, while Ceará, Goiás and Minas Gerais would have one more in their legislative assemblies.
