Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Thursday in Brussels the support of the European Union (EU) to military production in the country, in debate on the European Council, in which he again participated as a guest for an hour and a half.
According to a European source, “Zelensky has set out with EU defense capabilities reinforcement initiatives and encouraged its use to support Ukraine’s military production.”
At the entrance to Extraordinary Summit, Zelensky had already, in statements to journalists, grateful to European leaders for not having “left alone” after an argument with US President Donald Trump, in the White House, who led the Ukranian to abandon Washington without signing an agreement with the United States that gave them access to rare lands.
The same source added that Zelensky maintained, for an hour and a half, an “open debate” with his EU counterparts, informing them of “their diplomatic efforts and their expectations for the future in the perspective of just, global and lasting peace.”
