This weekend there are four emergencies closed throughout the country, most of the obstetrics and gynecology and in the Lisbon region. On Saturday morning, the average waiting time for an urgent patient at Amadora-Sintra Hospital was over nine and a half hours.

At 11:00 this Saturday, a sick with yellow bracelet expected, on average, nine and a half hours to be attended to the Amadora-Sintra Hospital. This is one of the referenced hospitals, that is, only those sent by INEM or the SNS 24 line.

At Beatriz Ângelo Hospital in Loures, an urgent patient also expected more than nine hours to be attended when the recommended time is one hour. This is one of four hospitals that have services closed over the weekend: pediatric urgency is closed.

At Garcia de Orta Hospital, in Almada, the same scenario: more than seven hours of waiting in general urgency, and the urgency of obstetrics and gynecology is closed today and tomorrow, as at the Barreiro Hospital and Leiria, the Santo André Hospital.

In the north of the country, the highest waiting time was recorded in Porto. At Santo António General Hospital, the average time was over six hours, but decreased throughout the morning.
