This weekend was the 20th round of the BetClic League, which marked International Women’s Day with a symbolic initiative in all games played on March 8 and 9.
During this journey, a unique ball was used that had inscribed negative messages and phrases that many athletes have heard throughout their careers. As the games took place, the warmth of the players erased the thermosensitive ink of the balls and the sentences disappeared – in a gesture that symbolizes the resilience and commitment of women’s athletes to sport, despite the discredit that they can still be targeted.
