The government of US President Donald Trump launched a new app on Monday (10) that will allow immigrants illegally in the United States to “self-desport” rather than facing a possible arrest and detention.
The US Customs and Border Protection app, called CBP Home, will offer an option for someone to signal their “intention to leave,” the agency said.
“The CBP Home application gives foreigners the option of leaving now and self -holding, so that they still have the opportunity to legally return in the future and live the American dream,” internal security secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement. “If they do not, we will find them, we will deport them and they will never return.”
Trump of the Republican Party promised to deport a record number of illegal migrants in the US. Trump’s initial deportation numbers were, although Biden’s deportations included many recent border cruisers.

A Trump government regulation that will come into force on April 11 would require people without legal status to register in the federal government or face fines or prison sentence.
CBP Home replaces an application known as CBP One that was released under Biden. The Biden Era application included a feature that allowed about one million migrants in Mexico to schedule an appointment to request a legal border crossing.
Republicans criticized the Biden program, saying that it facilitated mass migration to the United States and did not properly examine migrants.
Trump closed the CBP one hours after taking office, leaving migrants with hanging and uncertain consultations over the next steps.
