One day after an employee died after being hit by a bus in the courtyard of Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo, Aena dealership determined that drivers of the collectives used to carry passengers from the terminal to the aircraft are prohibited from relying.
The Aen issued an operational warning last Friday (7) about the “additional protective measure” and said that “other possible actions are analyzed.” The company did not send the statement to the report, but confirmed the ban on the reverse march on buses.
“The Aen accompanies investigations and provides all the necessary assistance to the work of the competent authorities. Security is an invaluable value for the concessionaire and its evolution is a process of continuous improvement. ”
The company also did not say what these “other possible actions” will be mentioned and when they will come into force.
How was the accident
Last Thursday (6), a 42-year-old Security Sata employee was hit by a bus in the airport’s operational area. The victim was rescued, but did not resist and died.
According to the concessionaire, the worker “was hit by a bus (without passengers) while the vehicle was performing a reverse maneuver near the bus platform at Congonhas Airport”.
