The Ukraine Foreign Ministry confirmed the beginning of the meeting and published a video on Telegram showing representatives of the country entering a meeting room. Representatives from both countries intend to address how to end the conflict caused by the Russian invasion of the Ukraine territory for over three years.
This is the first meeting between Ukrainian and American representatives since the incident between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Volodimir Zelensky and Donald Trump, when the first visited the White House in late February.
