From Wednesday (12 March), the wound must be careful especially in the western districts of Slovakia. In the afternoon it also blows in mountain areas. This is pointed out on its website by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI), which issued first level warnings.
From 7.00 to 20.00 h, the wind warning in the districts of Malacky, Ilava, Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Púchov, Trenčín, Piešťany, Senica and Skalica. In the districts of Poprad and Tvrdošín, the warning lasts from 12.00 until midnight. The wind in these locations reaches a speed of 65 to 75 kilometers per hour.
The first level warning of the wind is valid in the mountains above the forest zone for the districts of Ružomberok, Tvrdošín, Banská Bystrica, Brezno, Liptovský Mikuláš and Poprad. The wind can reach a speed of 110 to 135 kilometers per hour in gusts, which represents a whirlwind. The warning lasts from 14.00 to midnight.
