The workshops seek to discuss the main problems, opportunities and urgent actions to improve the development of the border region. The debates follow five main themes.
- Territorial planning, land regularization and environmental and climate management
- Infrastructure for development
- Promotion to sustainable productive activities and social inclusion
- Indigenous peoples and traditional communities
- Regional Integration, Migration and Security.
Tíssia Veloso pointed out that the initiative of the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development to elaborate plans for the development of integration in the border ranges has full convergence with the integration of the Rondon quadrant route.
“In this context, a plan that contemplates the main challenges and interventions needed to be able to overcome the border difficulties and make integration to be able to overcome,” said the coordinator.

Strategies
In March this year, the Acre Innovation and Development Business Forum and the State Government, through the State Secretariat of Planning (Seplan), signed a collaboration agreement to consolidate the Rondon South American Integration Route, focusing on the acre territory, in line with strategic government guidelines.
The project aims to integrate Acre with the scenario of regional and international development, facilitating commercial and structural connections, as well as promoting sustainable socioeconomic growth.
Seplan’s department of Interinstitutional Relations, Francimar Cavalcante, was at the event and stressed that listening to residents is essential for the development of the state.
“The Government of Acre has promoted actions to empower municipalities in the development process, and this meeting aims to hear the population and create action plans that really meet local needs.”
