The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs (MZvez) of the Slovak Republic is informed about the death of a citizen of the Slovak Republic, the embassy in Jakarta is in contact with the family and provides assistance within its competence. The Ministry of Diplomacy stated this for TASR in connection with the death of a young Slovakian in the Philippines.
He added that, given the protection of personal data, he cannot provide more information.
The Philippine police discovered the body of a missing Slovak citizen in an abandoned chapel on the island of Boracay in Aklan Province on Wednesday (12. 3.) Local Time. The police commander confirmed that on March 1, Michael arrived to Boracay’s island along with another Slovak, but stayed in various hotels. Her companion said that after the end of her stay, the woman did not return to the hotel and could not be called. The Slovak reported this fact to the police and asked the inhabitants for help in the search.
