Actor and producer Ben Stiller is preparing to launch a low sugar soda named Stiller’s, according to sources with knowledge of the subject.
At the age of 59 and a native of New York, Stiller has already conversations to raise funds for the venture, according to one of these sources, who asked for anonymity because the discussions are not yet public. The plans have not yet been finalized and may change.
A request for registration of the Stiller’s brand, described as a fruit -flavored -flavored drink, was filed in November, according to a website that monitors the US patent and brands office.

Famous for his roles in “Who will be with Mary?” And “Zoolander”, Stiller intends to star in advertising campaigns to promote the product, according to one of the sources. The launch of Stiller’s takes place amid a boom in the healthier soda market. PepsiCo Inc. announced on Monday the acquisition of the Poppi Prebiotic Refrigerant brand for $ 1.95 billion, as had already been anticipated by Bloomberg News. Olipop, a direct competitor, raised new investments in February, reaching a $ 1.85 billion review.
