Libertadores: See the groups of Brazilians – 17/03/2025 – Esporte

Conmebol (the South American Football Confederation) defined on Monday night (17) the groups of the first phase of the Copa Libertadores.

The teams of São Paulo, Sao Paulo and Palmeiras, both three -time champions of the tournament, fell into groups where they need attention, but can be overcome without scares.

São Paulo is in Group D and will face Libertad (Par), reunites Talleres (ARG), which faced last year, and takes Alianza Lima (PER).

Palmeiras is in Group G, with Bolivar (Par) and Cerro Porteño (PAR), which caught in 2024, and Sporting Cristal (PER).

In all, Brazil has nine teams in this first phase of the competition, which will be played between April 2 and May 28

Botafogo is the current champion of the tournament and has fallen into a theoretically easy key, Group A, with Estudants (ARG), Universidad de Chile (Chi) and Carabobo (Ven).

In the first phase of the competition, the group’s four clubs face each other in round -trip games. The top two places move to the next phase.
