President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini appointed Samuel Migal on Wednesday to the position of Minister of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics. At the same time accepted the resignation of the current head of the resort Richard Raši (Voice-SD).
Migal has so far worked as a non-attached Member of Parliament after being excluded from the Voice-SD Group. He became a minister on the basis of an agreement, which he as a non-attached MP signed with Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD).
The agreement has except for new posts In the government to bring stable support from the government coalition. Fico announced on Wednesday that at the next meeting of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, the support of 79 deputies should be restored.
It preceded the changes Agreement of government parties to adjust the coalition agreement and the distribution of members of the government. Direction-SD also acquired the Ministry of Tourism and Sport under its responsibility. The coalition agreement was amended in response to the amended conditions of deputies in Parliament, the CIS clubs and the vote-SD lost deputies.
Migaľ will replace the post of Minister Richard Rašiwho is Vice-SD voice. According to the agreement in the coalition, Raši is to become a new chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
