Brutal attacks on homosexuals in Austria. They detained 15 people, including a Slovak.
Austrian police detained on Friday morning for suspicions of deliberate humiliation, robbing and abuse of homosexuals 15 people, one of which in cooperation with the Slovak police. In one case, there is a suspicion of an attempt to murder, informs TASR based on DPA and APA reports and the Austrian police.
Devices – 12 men and three women – are 14 to 26 years old. These are eleven Austrians, Germans, Croat, Rumun and Slovak. The Austrian police have not yet provided more information about them.
According to investigators, alleged perpetrators accused their victims of being pedosexuals, that is, people who have an irresistible desire to collect child pornography.
They filmed their actions and published in closed groups on the Internet
Investigator Michael Lohnegger said in Graz that the suspects since May 2024 have lured at least 17 mostly men to remote places using false identity on social networks. There were several masked people waiting for the victims to rob and humiliate them. Everything was shot and recorded in closed groups on the Internet.
According to the police, the perpetrators were increasingly brutal. Investigators assume that the number of their victims is high. At 23 house searches, not only weapons, but also the Nazi symbols were found. Police did not confirm reports that suspects were among the right-wing-editions.
About 400 police officers, as well as criminalists and members of the special units of Cobra and Wega, participated in the raid in seven Länder in Austria.
