Goalkeeper Alisson and midfielder Gerson underwent medical evaluations after suffering injuries to the Brazilian team’s victory over Colombia, by the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Prior to the press conference, doctor Rodrigo Lasmar detailed the situation of the players and explained the next steps to evaluate both.

“Alisson suffered a trauma in the head region, he has been replaced by a suspicion of concussion. “In the possibility that everything is normal, we will make a sequence of observation in the coming days. Today we will do the tests, all necessary assessments. Alisson is normal, without any complaints. He did not report any faint and no memory loss. He thought he was a little slower. In this complaint, the recommended is the replacement of the player,” he added.
About Gerson, Lasmar indicated that the player will also be evaluated with specific exams.
“Subsequently, Gerson complained of a pain in his left thigh. He will also do image exams, so when we have news, we will inform you,” said the doctor.
While following questions about the two players, the return to the field on Tuesday (25) to face Argentina, in Buenos Aires, for the 14th round of the qualifiers.
