The US internal security department accused Badar Khan Suri of having ties with Hamas and said he spread advertising from the extremist group and anti -Semitism on social networks, according to a shared statement with Fox News.
The department’s declaration to Fox Newswho was republished by the White House’s office chief of staff, Stephen Miller, did not mention evidence. She said the Secretary of State Marco Rubio determined that Suri’s activities “They made it deportable”.
Living in the US with a student visa, Suri is married to an American citizen and is detained, according to his lawyer. He is awaiting an audience date at the immigration court, the lawyer said.
