Portable computer saves motorcyclist that was shot in assault in Brazil

On Tuesday night, a 35-year-old motorcyclist escaped serious injuries after being shot during a robbery in Vila Jaguara, west of São Paulo, Brazil. The man was protected by the portable computer that carried in the backpack, which prevented the projectile from reaching his body directly.

The victim was driving the motorcycle when he was surrounded by a group of five criminals, one armed. During the approach, one of the robbers fired, but the shot was cushioned by the laptop, which was eventually damaged, but saved life to the man.

After the attack, the criminals fled, and the rider managed to ask for help. He was taken to a health unit, but suffered only minor injuries due to the impact of the shooting.

The case is under investigation by local authorities, who seek to identify and capture those responsible for the crime.
