Potsdam – According to a study, global warming could be significantly stronger than expected. The Paris goal of keeping the warming at well below two degrees Celsius can only be reached in “scenarios with very low emissions and with lower climate sensitivity as currently assumed in the best estimate”, warned the Potsdam Institute for Climate Illic Research (PIK) on Monday.
