Lula returns to Brazil after closing commercial agreements traveling through Asia

The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) arrives this Sunday (30) in Brasilia after a visit of the state Vietnam and to Japan.

Lula and his entourage, made up of ministers and parliamentarians, spent a week negotiating trade agreements and bringing Brazil closer to Asia countries amid the tariff war between China and the United States.

In Vietnam, and talked about the expectation that the Asian nation will become a distributor of the Brazilian protein to ASEAN members – regional block with ten Southeast Asia countries.

Entourage

The petista accompanied the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), and the Federal Senate, David Alcolumbre (Union-AP).

Also part of the entourage were former presidents of the houses, Arthur Lira (PP-AL) and Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), as well as party leaders such as Deputies Isnaldo Bulhões (MDB-AL), Dr. Luizinho (PP-RJ) and Pedro Lucas (União-MA).

Lula’s next international trip is due to Russia in May for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II.
