According to Serasa Experian consumer demand indicator for recently released, the portion of the Brazilian population with a monthly income of up to one minimum wage was the one that sought the most financial resources via credit earlier this year.

The increase in the period was 4.7%, and the sector was driven by the population of the population with lower purchasing power, which increased by 11.9% its demand for credit.
The data also note that those receiving between five and ten minimum wages recorded the highest retraction in the period (-4.8%).
In clipping by states of the federation, the population of Amazonas was the one that sought the most for resources, up 22.5%, followed by Pará (16.5%), Roraima (15.0%), Acre (12.8%) and Rondônia (10.5%). In total, 23 states had increased demand for credit.
Serasa Experian economist Camila Abdelmalack said that increased demand for credit among low -income consumers may be related to high cost of living and the need to complement the budget. On the other hand, among the highest income ranges, there was a 4.8% retraction in demand for credit, indicating more cautious behavior in the face of the economic scenario.
These data reveal a growing tendency towards demand for credit in Acre, especially among consumers of lower purchasing power, who reflect current economic dynamics and the financial needs of the local population.
