William Levy, Cuban-American actor known for his role in the telenovela has been arrested in Florida, specifically in the city of Weston, to the southeast of the state and within what is considered the Miami Metropolitan Area (in fact, one hour to the north of the city). Levy (Cojímar, Havana, 44 years old) was arrested on Monday night by the Broward Sheriff’s office, the county that Weston belongs, and accused of two positions. The first, a double charge for “disorderly poisoning” (that is, by alcohol consumption accompanied by some type of disturbance) as well as by causing alterations in public. The second, for trying to transfer a private property. At the moment, no more details are known about what happened and, on Tuesday at noon, he still remained in prison.
According to the arrest file, to which the country has had access, William Gutiérrez-Levy (his full name) was arrested on April 14 and transferred to the main prison of the County. Although in principle it did not seem to have a chance on bail, it can now do it if you pay a total of $ 500, 250 for each position. In addition, it appears waiting for judgments, for both positions.
