One way to extend the life of daffodils in a vase is the use of home nutrient. You need sugar and lemon juice.

The use will effectively extend the life of these cut flowers. Pour about 5 drops of lemon juice and pour one teaspoon of sugar into the water in a vase and wait for it to dissolve. Only then put the cut daffodils into the vase. Lemon juice prevents the development of bacteria in water, while sugar makes flowers keep their natural color.

Always buy daffodils with slightly colored but closed buds. Also check if their stalks are firm and simple. Fill the vase with cool water and remember to replace it every day.
