Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) is still hospitalized at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) a week after surgery on April 13. A new medical report released by DF Star Hospital and shared by former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro on Sunday, 20, reports that there is no forecast of discharge from the ICU, but that the former president has good clinical evolution.
The hospital note also says that Bolsonaro has blood pressure under control, after the episode of change reported in this Saturday’s bulletin, 19. He remains oral fasting, ie without feeding through his mouth, and has intensified motor physiotherapy and rehabilitation measures.
Last Sunday, April 13, Bolsonaro had a 12 -hour surgery to remove adhesions in the intestine and rebuild the abdominal wall.
The operation was done after the former president was sick, two days earlier, during an agenda in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. Bolsonaro had an obstruction due to a small intestine fold that made intestinal transit difficult. In surgery, the complication was undone. According to the medical team responsible for the procedure, the postoperative period should be “prolonged”.
