Senator Alan Rick (UB-AC), through lawyers, sought the Civil Police, on Wednesday (23) to formalize a criminal complaint in a police report against dissemination of false information associating his name with the accident in Via Verde, Rio Branco, which resulted in the death of two people and left a third wound last week.

The record was motivated by a video that circulates in the WhatsApp groups where a man – without showing his face – says the truck driver involved in the accident would be advisor to the senator and that the parliamentarian would have linked asking for the release of the involved. “Liar information,” said one of the parliamentarian’s lawyers.

An appointment to the Federal Senate Transparency Portal confirms that the name of Talysson Duarte, a driver cited in the groups, is not a server appointed or hired in Alan Rick’s office, nor in any other sector of the Senate.

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) had already spoken out in an official note stating that the driver remained at the scene of the accident, provided the information requested, performed the breathalyzer test with a negative result and was released by safety, due to the risk of lynching by popular.

On Wednesday, the PRF again pronounced by an official note about the case reiterating that all the action was in line with what the law says. “Irresponsibly has been disclosed that there would be a personal connection between the driver involved and the agents who complied with the occurrence, as well as the alleged existence of a request for release by public authority. public, and all decisions made by the agents were strictly based on legality ”.
The PRF concludes that “it will adopt the appropriate judicial measures for those responsible for the spread of false and offensive content to the honor of the institution and, especially, its servers are properly responsible.”

In addition to registration with the Civil Police, Senator Alan Rick’s lawyers will also take the case to the Acre Public Prosecutor, the Federal Police and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office reporting the dissemination of false information.

The senator demonstrated indignation with the spread of false information. “It is a wickedness without size. Instead of being sympathized with the victims, the families of the two workers who have lost their lives in a tragic accident, these people, who suspect they are bearing a political group that does not accept our leadership in the polls, try to create and propagate lies to attack me, putting in check until the seriousness of the PRF work.
The senator continues: “I am taking all appropriate judicial measures. We have already registered a complaint with the Civil Police, we will take the case to the State Public Prosecution Service, the Federal Police and the Federal Prosecutor.”
