China tests non -nuclear hydrogen pump amid tensions with Taiwan

Chinese researchers successfully detonated an explosive hydrogen -based device on a controlled field test, triggering devastating chain chemical reactions without using any nuclear material, said the South China Morning Post (SCMP) citing an article revised by pairs published periodic scientific Journal of Projectiles, Rockets, Missiles and Guidance in Chinese language.

The test occurs at a time of growing tension involving Taiwan and, in the evaluation of the Asia Timesaims to “shock and impress” in order to weaken opponents.
