Ramon Rocha Queiroz, Dino, and Chris Bumtead, the Cbum, will face each other again. The stage of the reissue of this confrontation will be this year’s edition of Pittsburgh Pro, bodybuilding championship that will take place between May 10 and 11 at Pennsylvania, United States.
The Brazilian and the Canadian recently confirmed their participation in the event, which traditionally calls some of the best athletes in the world to make a guest posing (the act of performing on stage without necessarily competing. Generally, the bodybuilders are out of preparation, which most often means a larger but less conditioned physicist).
On this occasion – much more friendly than in the editions of Olympia in which they played the world title – Dino and Cbum will have by their side names like Ronnie Coleman, Phil Heat, Flex Lewis and Sarah Villegas, for example.
History of rivalry
Even before starting his professional career in bodybuilding, the Acrean was already pointed out as a potential future danger to BumStead’s reign. In the 2022 and 2023 editions of Olympia, the two were separated from the other competitors and decided the title, who got Dino’s tormentor on both occasions.
After beating the sixth championship at the end of last year, Cbum announced his retirement. A few weeks later, he participated in a championship in the Open category and took second position.
Supposedly, this was the last competition of the American bodybuilder. However, many believe that, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, he will return to the stage in the near future.
Professional Championships
By 2025, Pittsburgh Pro has been pointed out as the most important show after Olympia and Arnold Classic Ohio. This is because several athletes who fight for the world’s early positions have confirmed their presence.
To get a sense of the magnitude of the competition, Classic Physique will bring the clash between Ruff Diesel, Josema and Michael Daboul, as well as the debut of Brazilian Caike Pro in its new category. Already at Open, for example, there will be names like Nick Walker, Derek Lunsford, Martin Fitzwater, William Bonac, Michal Krizo, Goodvito, Leandro Peres, Marcelo Cruz and others.
