Union centrals to President Lula (PT) in which they advocate the confrontation of pejotization after the decision of Minister Gilmar Mendes, and ask for readjustments that ensure real gains to retired and pensioners.
The 26 -point document is signed by leaders of eight entities: CUT (Single Workers ‘Central), Força Sindical, UGT (General Workers’ Union), CTB (Brazilian Workers ‘Center), NCST (New Workers’ Union Center), CSB (Brazilian Union Center), intersindical central and central employee working class.
In addition to Lula, the demands of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), and Senate, David Alcolumbre (Union-AP) will also receive the demands.
Them divided the priorities into three thematic fields. In the first, “unions, legislation and labor rights”, are demands such as increasing policies to confront unemployment, outsourcing, intermittent work and pejotization – mechanism used by companies to hire employees as a legal entity without having to bear labor charges.
In mid -April, the minister suspended all lawsuits in court. He asked the issue to have general repercussions, that is, to discuss a thesis on the subject to guide all the judiciary’s decisions on pejotization.
Still in these first topics are priorities such as recovering the purchasing power of retirees and pensioners, with readjustment policies that guarantee gains above inflation, and restore the approval of employment contract terminations at the union.
In the field of “Basic Rights”, the centrals want to approve the National Education Plan 2024/2034 and expand access to popular housing policy, while in the topic “Social Justice Development and Promotion Policies” are requested as a reduction in living costs, the strengthening of family farming and tax exemption for PLR (profit sharing).
