The Greens started at a high level, but with a mortgage in their luggage. In the Vienna election of 2020, 14.8 percent were booked, but then four crisis-laid years followed in the federal government. The Greens received the receipt for this in the National Council election in September in the form of a loss of 5.66 percentage points.
